I’m from Hannah Montana
The Best of Both Worlds
From singing at the top of my lungs
With comb for a mic
I’m from the old neighborhood
The sweet childhood memories
From after school games
And childish shenanigans
I’m from Barbie Dolls
And kitchen set
From operating on fake patients
With my doctor’s set
I’m from Taylor Swift songs
The cliched lines of love and heartbreak
From Fearless and Lover
To writing my own piece
I’m from romantic novels
The musty scent of the pages
From the classics of Nicholas Sparks
To Anna Todd’s After series
I’m from colorful marshmallows
And mouth watering desserts
From the ecstasy felt
At subtle hint of sweetness
I’m from sweet tooth
And struggle to control my tongue
From the stomach rumbles
At whiff of something delectable
I’m from the involuntary eye rolls
And getting my friends mad
From all the tears and joy
Shared with my dear ones.
