“Another Channel” by Nick Pipitone.

i want to feel connected to Mother Earth –
wet, black soil after torrential rains
swaying tree boughs that yearn to
embrace me like old grandmas
with calloused hands &
toothless smiles

i want it so much, yet
i feel nothing –
only dullness where the earth
is another distorted channel
on so many screens
divorced from the pulsating ground
of my ancestors

  1. This is not only good, but I can kinda feel it’s message. In a weird, strange yet deep way. I don’t know how to describe it but I feel it!
