from the air swallowed
I fertilize
garden bones as if I would my children
preparing first life
and then the subtlety
the pagala death;
I’m on my knees
fragmented; so, a grave
I stir in my bedsheets, knowing none
the woman in my skin or the woman I am.

I tend to lump poetry into categories: Earthly, elemental, and ethereal. You do all three at once here.
