In search of a beta reader.
I'm currently in search of a beta reader or two to help give feedback on my WIP, maybe even hash out ideas.
Chapter Four of The Obsession.
"...I am not even flattering you, she probably just glanced at you and decided what she would feel, like clockwork,” he snapped his fingers. “You need to end this.” "And how do you expect me to do that?” Mischa didn’t dare break away eye contact. Respect was the only thing she had left, if it wasn’t love. "You do it carefully, Koch. Very carefully.”
Novel Collaboration (Identify): Chapter 14.
His voice croaked. “If there is no escape, then there is no length of survival.” “Then Artemis was right. We have to murder this whole regime.”
Artemis and Lauren.
Hope this soundtrack could depict a bit of weirdness, a bit of surrealism, and a bit of fear in the midst of it all too--I pretty much am looking at it through Lauren's perspective, how everything is fading in seconds before she believes it is her time.
Identify Podcast Theme.
I have recently composed an intro soundtrack to the Identify podcast project I’ve been working on. For those that do not know, Identify is an ongoing novel collaboration project that delves into a mysterious island that has different uses for people.

Lauren let out a grunt into the dark cave, legs locking onto Artemis’s; her strength collapsed into the mutant who inhabited her space closely, soon fallen to the death of tenebrous nightfall.

"Almost there!" said the facetiousness of the grinning face. "Let's start over again..." almost as if spoken from the true puppet master, Merlin. "And Tom? You are owned. Don't forget."

“I know you saw something in the light, Tom. We all did. You can’t trust the words of a fucking maniac that tried to kill us—you have to trust what you saw.”
“Think, Lauren. Really think. Why would she tell me this otherwise?”
“To not remember!” Lauren inched closer to him, eyes blazing. He couldn’t look away from her if he tried. “If I remember Clarence at least, then she’s real to me.”
Identify Podcast: Episode 2 (The Other Side).
Written by Andrada Costoiu (chapter two) and B.V. Stratton (chapter three), this joint chapter delves a little into the sibling’s past but questions still arise. Resigning himself to trust his “newfound” sister, they make a break to the other side of the island as a last minute escape (as Tom blew their original plan). Lauren is more resourceful than she looks, and all Tom wanted to know was the truth. What is the cost of learning it and would it be safe for him to know? Though how unfortunate for the sibling iconoclasts that someone lurks in the shadows.

Its gonna be a loooong while for me to finish the Alice story, in that one she, emh, you could say, sold her own heart.
On the story I was talking about the last post, its something different. For a start, it is someone elses heart.
“Aurora is such and idiot” well, thats a given. Mmm, I could improve the eyes.
But it is more complex than that, I wont even be able to cover it here… in the interaction between Auroras personalities, you can see things flowing naturally one way, then the leadership deciding to go another.
Aint that, fun? life is so dull and boring, maybe in that undiscovered path… Going back to their relation, earlier times were different, in common terms, Aurora was “way out of her league”, social status, resources, strength, this and that, Aurora kept fighting everyone there as she didnt like it, Auroras Mother…

Identify Podcast: Episode 1 (Psyche).
The first episode of the "Identify" podcast delves into chapter one–where it all starts for Tom and what truly waking up means. Actions have consequences as the more he is delved into conspiracy on the island, the more he is wanted. Not having his memories and not knowing who to trust, he is weary and terrified. Along the way, he meets an unlikely stranger on the island who shows him that even beyond the surface, there's more that itches from beneath.

The other day I was about to write a “poem” called ~Hoarder lite~, once upon a time I was a full one, now I notice Im lite, which gets in the middle of the so necessary cleaning that has draaaaaged for years.
Then I want to do it all in one day, impossible, then I just do enough and forget about it, then I want to do something and get a flu, or work, or busy with whatever crap, aaaahhhhh.
Lots of work this past week, I know its a fat-thin cows thing, so I dont complain much. Pigeon matters, the baby squad remains here, baby 2 and 3 are still small, baby number 6, I have released him like five times and still comes back at the end of the day.
Plenty of other stuff… with the so many deaths of friendly birds, and that time of the year…

Catastrophic.
Lauren grit her teeth, trying to ignore Artemis. Of catastrophic darkness, she could see eyes watching her in motion. She sank into internal refuge as the shadows held the branches above them.
Opposites Attract
A very intriguing short sci-fi story that leaves you wanting more.
Isobelle was cold, but she was always cold these days so it didn’t matter. Nothing really mattered when you got to be her age, other than making sure no-one realised that you were three hundred and seventy nine years old. Thank hell she didn’t have to contend with the kind of restrictions the books had always told her she would, she didn’t have to stay out of the sun for fear of burning, or avoid garlicky dishes. In fact she could still eat human food, although she had to throw it up afterwards, but eating was one of the ways she was able to blend in, that and having a normal non-nocturnal life not like some kind of obvious demon of the night.

Check out the completed drawing Au did for one of the main characters of my ongoing novel collaboration, “Identify.” It’s very well done and I would as well recommend giving their site a look.
The drawing depicts the opening scene from chapter one:
Tom splashed the water onto his face, searching for respite in the cool air. His teeth chattered in the breeze, and he was withholding tears from his eyes as the wind progressed faster onto his pale skin. He was naked. The circular white edges of sand trapped themselves onto his feet as he crawled. Tom stirred out of memory how he washed ashore, resigning it as a lost cause.
Overcast, the wisps of wind crashed through heavily, and momentarily, he felt warmth, a possessed warmth draping over like a blanket. He closed his eyes, chose a spot in partial darkness and lied down; eyes frosted over, he was still until he felt his body lifted from the edge of the isthmus.
